My name is Betsy Ross. My real name is Elizabeth. My nickname is Betsy. I was born on January 1, 1752. I went to school when I was six years old. I was a Quaker.

 I had 5 kids. My 1 daughter was born in 1779. 2 years later my second daughter was born. 2 of my children died. One of baby’s died when she was 9 months old. I was a widow 2 time’s. I made the first American flag in 1776 and finish in 1777.

 

 I got married to John Ross In 1773 and he died 3 years later in 1776.I got married again in 1777. He falls ill and died. I died a couple years later at the age of 84. :)
