Hi, (wave) I’m Benjamin Franklin. I was born in 1706. I started school at age 8. I quit school at age 10. I had to quit school because my family did not have enough money to keep me in school. I had to work at my dad’s candle and soap shop, I didn’t like it.        

 

I invented the vocal glasses, the Benjamin oven, and the long arm. The long arm is to help people like me (put your hand on your chest) to reach things from high up.

 

I died at the age eighty four, April 17 1790.
