Helen Keller Speech
By Leah

When I grew up my mom sent me to learn sign language. I was born in 1880. When I was a kid I would kick and scream and hit when I didn’t understand the things that the teacher were teaching me.
When I was
in college I learned how to read brail. I learned lots of, too. I used people’s
lips to understand what people were saying. It’s been such a hard life for me.
But I got used to it. My most popular book is the story of my life.

I didn’t
have any kids.
